**Siemens Energy to Invest $421 Million in North Carolina Plant Expansions**

Siemens Energy, a leading manufacturer of large power transformers for the energy sector, is making a significant investment in North Carolina, committing $421 million to expand its operations across several locations in the state. The investment is expected to create approximately 500 new jobs.

A key part of the expansion includes the company’s 1 million-square-foot complex in Charlotte, which will see the majority of the job growth. This initiative builds on a previously announced $150 million investment in the Charlotte facility from last year. Siemens Energy anticipates that the first turbines manufactured at the Charlotte plant will begin shipping within the next two to three years.

In addition to the Charlotte expansion, Siemens Energy is also boosting its operations in Raleigh. This includes enhancements to grid technology project execution, engineering, sales, and research and development efforts.

The North Carolina investment is part of a broader $1 billion commitment Siemens Energy is making toward manufacturing expansion in the United States, underscoring the company’s strategic focus on strengthening domestic energy infrastructure and innovation.
