**Cushman & Wakefield Brokers $28.45M Mixed-Use Property Sale in Chicago’s Ravenswood**
Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the $28.45 million sale of 1900 W. Lawrence, a boutique luxury mixed-use property located in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. The asset includes 59 residential units and more than 19,000 square feet of ground-level retail space.
The property, located at 1900 W. Lawrence Avenue, is a redeveloped former Sears store. Transformed in 2021, the building was 100% leased on the retail level and 94% occupied in its residential component at the time of the sale.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Managing Directors Jack Maloney and Brad Smith represented the seller, Matthew Tarshis of Frontline Real Estate Partners, who acted as court-appointed receiver for the transaction.
The four-story building features a mix of modern one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The second floor offers unique townhome-style units with soaring 20-foot ceilings. The location provides convenient access to numerous major retailers including LA Fitness, Starbucks, and Mariano’s grocery store. It is also located within close proximity to public transportation, sitting less than one block from the Ravenswood Metra station and two blocks from the Damen Brown Line stop.
