**KPPC Advanced Chemicals Breaks Ground on $120M Plant in Casa Grande**
KPPC Advanced Chemicals has commenced work on Phase I of a new $120 million state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona. The project is being developed within the Sonoran Valley Industrial Park.
With the initial investment, the facility will manufacture ultrapure and proprietary functional chemicals essential to semiconductor manufacturing. These materials are critical for processes such as wafer cleaning, etching, chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), photolithography, and advanced packaging. Production is slated to begin in late 2027.
The construction phase is expected to create hundreds of job opportunities for contractors and suppliers throughout Pinal County and the Greater Phoenix area.
Looking ahead, KPPC envisions the Casa Grande site evolving into a comprehensive semiconductor chemical campus. Total investment in the facility is projected to reach approximately $500 million by 2035.
Once operational, the ultrapure chemical (UAP) facility will supply high-purity materials to major semiconductor manufacturers including TSMC, Intel, and Micron, supporting the advancement of next-generation logic and memory technologies across the United States.
