**Alterra IOS Expands National Presence with Acquisition of 11 Properties Nationwide**
Alterra IOS, a leading firm in the industrial outdoor storage (IOS) sector, announced the acquisition of 11 fully stabilized IOS properties located across major U.S. industrial and logistics hubs. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, all acquired sites are fully leased to a national equipment rental company.
The properties are strategically positioned near vital logistics and transportation corridors in key markets including Chicago, Houston, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern New Jersey. The transaction strengthens Alterra’s national footprint and supports its ongoing expansion in crucial industrial regions.
“This portfolio is representative of our core thesis – acquiring well-positioned industrial outdoor storage assets with grade-level warehouses and supportive IOS zoning,” said Mark Gannon, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Alterra IOS. “These properties can serve a wide range of IOS tenants across multiple industrial sectors, and as such, we expect sustained demand for these specific properties over the long term.”
The transaction was facilitated by Tom Lasky and Anthony VanVoorhis of Colliers.
With this latest acquisition, Alterra IOS continues to solidify its role as a dominant player in the IOS market, having amassed more than 400 properties nationwide.
