**NewQuest Lands Dick’s Sporting Goods and Havertys at 650,000-SF Richmond Retail Center**
NewQuest is set to begin construction on the final major expansion of The Grand at Aliana, paving the way for Dick’s Sporting Goods and Havertys Furniture to join the fully leased, 650,000-square-foot retail development in Fort Bend County.
With the addition of these two nationally recognized, publicly traded companies, the anchor roster at The Grand at Aliana now totals 11. The development, which spans 107 acres, is strategically located at the intersection of W. Grand Parkway/TX 99 and W. Airport Boulevard in Richmond, Texas. Dick’s Sporting Goods is slated to occupy 60,249 square feet and is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026. Havertys Furniture will take up 27,253 square feet and plans to open in the third quarter of 2026.
NewQuest’s Josh Friedlander represented the firm in the lease agreement with Dick’s Sporting Goods. Friedlander also partnered with David Meyers, NewQuest’s Managing Director of Leasing and Development Partner, in negotiating the lease with Haverty Furniture Companies Inc. Matt Reed and Greg Bracchi of SHOP Companies represented Dick’s Sporting Goods, while Mark Reeder, Ed Heap, Jonathan Probst, and Ryan Johnson of SRS Real Estate represented Haverty Furniture Companies Inc.
The Grand at Aliana project began in 2019 and has evolved through three development phases to become a premier commercial destination in the region.
