American Medical Association Signs 37,000-SF Lease at Capitol Crossing in D.C.
The American Medical Association (AMA) has signed a 37,000-square-foot lease at Capitol Crossing, a 2.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development located at 200 Massachusetts Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. The association will occupy the entire ninth floor and is expected to move in by late 2026.
JLL represented Capitol Crossing Advisors in the transaction, with a team that included Nathan Beach, Evan Behr, Kristen Mathis, and Anslee Krouch. AMA was represented by Ned Goodwin and Art Santry of Cushman & Wakefield.
The lease follows additional leasing activity at Capitol Crossing, including Lewis-Burke Associates’ 21,000-square-foot full-floor lease at 250 Massachusetts Avenue and Strategic Marketing Innovations expanding its space by 10,000 square feet at 200 Massachusetts Avenue.
Capitol Crossing Advisors is also developing five new speculative office suites at 250 Massachusetts Avenue. These suites, ranging in size from 2,800 to 6,000 square feet, will be ready for tenant occupancy in March 2026. These move-in-ready spaces are aimed at attracting future tenants seeking flexible and immediate occupancy.
