**DraftKings and Wayfair Announce Boston Headquarters Relocations**
DraftKings will relocate its headquarters from Boston’s Back Bay to downtown in 2027, while Wayfair will consolidate its operations into the Boylston Street property DraftKings will vacate, according to the Boston Business Journal.
The online sports gaming leader will move into 225 Franklin Street, an office tower in Post Office Square. In turn, Wayfair will occupy 500 Boylston Street, which also has an address at 222 Berkeley Street. Both buildings are owned by Oxford Properties.
“Wayfair is a forward-thinking brand and a key contributor to Boston’s tech landscape, making this a great partnership that we’re excited to grow now and well into the future,” said Matthew Polhemus, Vice President of Leasing at Oxford Properties. “This latest move reflects Oxford’s continued commitment and success in creating thoughtfully designed, best-in-class workplace environments where innovative companies can thrive.”
Wayfair noted that it has signed a long-term lease that allows the company to remain in the Back Bay neighborhood while consolidating its office footprint.
