**Mediapro Facility Opens as Yonkers’ 11th Film and TV Studio**
Yonkers continues to solidify its status as a prime destination for the entertainment industry with the grand opening of Mediapro Studios at Great Point Studios. The newly launched production complex features state-of-the-art soundstages, post-production facilities, and amenities tailored to attract filmmakers, content creators, and production companies from around the globe. This marks the 11th film and television studio to open in the city.
Situated at 1050 North Broadway, the 100,000-square-foot facility includes three stages totaling 50,000 square feet, with individual stage sizes ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 square feet. Mediapro Studios has already secured its first major tenant, NBCUniversal Television, which has leased the space for an upcoming series.
“Yonkers continues to prove we are a place where world-class creativity can thrive,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “This new Mediapro campus is a shining example of how our city is attracting global talent and major productions, creating jobs, energizing our economy, and showcasing Yonkers as a leader in the film industry.”
