**Construction Underway on $340M Huntersville Mixed-Use Project**
Treenail Development has officially broken ground on Town1, a transformative $340 million mixed-use development located in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Town1 is set to feature over 700 residential units and approximately 75,000 square feet dedicated to retail, restaurants, and neighborhood services. In addition to the residential and commercial spaces, developer Geisler is planning a five-story, 120,000-square-foot office building as part of the expansive project, which spans 54 acres. The entire development is slated for completion in 2028.
As part of the project’s commercial infrastructure, a 17-acre business park is being established on the northern portion of the site. This section will provide shallow-bay flex industrial space, adding a strategic employment component to the community.
The residential offerings at Town1 will consist of three distinct housing types: 327 urban flat apartments, 305 garden-style apartments, and 70 townhomes. Blackburn Communities is spearheading the residential portion called Junction at Town1, which will include the townhomes and garden-style units.
Retail plans for the development feature designated pads for a brewery, a cantina, and medical office spaces, with further areas being allocated for additional restaurants and neighborhood services.
Town1 aims to become a vibrant, self-contained community bringing together living, working, and leisure in one cohesive environment for the Huntersville area.
