Natixis Funds $260M Refinance for Upper West Side Multifamily Tower
Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking has provided a $260 million floating-rate loan to refinance AIRE, a 43-story multifamily rental building located at 200 West 67th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The financing was secured on behalf of a joint venture between a global investment firm and Gotham Organization. Lawrence Britvan and Michael Straw from CBRE’s New York City office arranged the funding.
Originally delivered in early 2010, AIRE offers high-end, condo-quality finishes and a robust amenity package. Since acquiring the property in early 2024, Gotham Organization has partnered with Handel Architects to undertake significant renovations. Recent upgrades include newly renovated residences, enhancements to shared spaces such as the fitness center, and the addition of a new fourth-floor terrace featuring a firepit, grills, and a bar.
“Gotham has transformed AIRE and repositioned the property through substantial, design-forward upgrades and the introduction of our renowned hospitality and resident experiences,” said Nicole Picket, Vice President at Gotham Organization. “Securing this $260 million refinancing underscores continued confidence in AIRE’s revitalized position.”
