Accesso Granted Extension for Major Mixed-Use Project in Austin
In 2020, Florida-based property owner Accesso Partners received zoning approval to significantly expand 7700 Parmer, an Austin-based office campus. The proposed expansion includes an additional 800,000 square feet of office space, 1,800 multifamily residential units, a 340-room hotel, and 80,000 square feet of retail space. At the time, the existing campus encompassed 911,573 square feet.
According to the Austin Business Journal, Accesso has since filed for a permit extension to continue with the development plans, as the original permit was due to expire in 2024. A representative for the City of Austin confirmed that the extension has been approved, with the new expiration date set for September 2026.
The site plan, which received final approval in September 2022, outlines a multi-phase development strategy aimed at transforming the site into a 3-million-square-foot mixed-use campus. Planned improvements include the construction of new buildings and the replacement of surface parking lots with structured parking facilities.
