BWE Secures $49.5 Million in Financing for Two Retail Centers
BWE has arranged a total of $49.5 million in financing to refinance two major shopping centers: Morganton Park South in Southern Pines, North Carolina, and East Viking Plaza in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The financing was secured by Dan Rosenberg, Executive Vice President of BWE’s Chicago and Boca Raton offices, along with Logan Petersmeyer and Isabella Barrios. The team arranged the loans on behalf of Midland Atlantic Properties, a retail real estate owner and developer based in Cincinnati. Both loans are non-recourse and include competitive interest rates with several years of interest-only payments.
East Viking Plaza, located at 410 Viking Plaza Drive in Cedar Falls, Iowa, spans 147,659 square feet. The property is leased to a strong lineup of national retailers, including Target, Scheel’s, Michaels, Old Navy, and Ulta.
Morganton Park South is located at 201-377 Carolina Green Parkway in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Built in 2024, the 267,021-square-foot shopping center is nearly fully leased and anchored by Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods/Golf Galaxy, and HomeGoods.
