**HIC Land Breaks Ground on $300M, 2,600-Acre Master-Planned Community in Hardeeville**

HIC Land has officially broken ground on Carolina Station, a $300 million, 2,600-acre master-planned community located on the historic Morgan Tract in Hardeeville, South Carolina, just north of Savannah, Georgia.

Carolina Station is set to feature over 650 multifamily residential units and more than 95 acres of commercial property. HIC Land plans to transform the commercial space into a dynamic mix of retail, dining, and lifestyle amenities aimed at serving both community residents and the broader region.

The development will be completed in multiple phases over the coming years. The launch of the project began with HIC Land’s $36 million acquisition of the Morgan Tract.

Strategically situated, Carolina Station provides residents with easy access to the beaches of Hilton Head Island, the rich cultural offerings of nearby Savannah, and a rapidly expanding job market throughout the Lowcountry. A notable nearby economic driver includes the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America near Savannah, which opened in March and is expected to support up to 8,500 jobs.
