**Dick’s House of Sport Opens at Live Oak Town Center in San Antonio**
DICK’S House of Sport has officially opened its doors at Live Oak Town Center in San Antonio, joining major retailers such as IKEA and Floor & Décor as anchor tenants. The retail center, owned by Weitzman, is expected to encompass more than 800,000 square feet of retail space across its 111-acre site, located at the southwest quadrant of IH-35 and Loop 1604.
The new DICK’S House of Sport location offers more than just premier athletic apparel and equipment. It features an immersive shopping experience with in-store amenities such as a climbing wall, outdoor sports field, multiple golf bays equipped with TrackMan simulators, and a multi-sport cage. The multi-sport cage allows customers to engage in activities like baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse—all while testing products and tracking their performance through innovative technology.
Live Oak Town Center is being developed in phases and will include the addition of more anchors, junior anchors, retail shops, and restaurants as part of its long-term expansion plans.
