**Vialto Group More Than Doubles Office Space at 545 Madison**
Private equity firm Vialto Group is expanding its footprint at 545 Madison Avenue, increasing its leased space by an additional 10,000 square feet. The expansion brings Vialto’s total occupancy in the building to 17,500 square feet, now spanning two full floors in the Plaza District property.
The building, known as the Baccarat Building, earned its name following a co-branding partnership between landlord Marx Realty and the luxury crystal brand Baccarat. The collaboration reflects Marx Realty’s emphasis on creating elevated, hotel-like experiences within their commercial spaces.
“The hotel-like sensibility, combined with our commitment to creating beautiful spaces — in this case, in partnership with Baccarat — continues to attract high-profile tenants seeking a top-to-bottom sensory experience,” said Craig Deitelzweig, president and CEO of Marx Realty. “As is typical across our portfolio in New York and D.C., existing tenants almost always choose to grow in place at Marx properties, and we’re thrilled to see Vialto more than doubling its footprint at 545 Madison.”
Cushman & Wakefield represented both parties in the transaction. A team led by Tara Stacom acted on behalf of Marx Realty, while David Dusek represented the Vialto Group.
