**Elmhurst Park District Leases 40,000-SF Facility at 185 Industrial Drive**

DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International has announced a full-building lease transaction at 185 Industrial Drive in Elmhurst, Illinois. Vice President Dan Prendergast and Managing Broker George Cibula represented the building owner, 3 Flatt LLC, in the lease of the 40,048-square-foot facility to the Elmhurst Park District.

Representing the Elmhurst Park District was Mike Muisenga of Prairie Path Berkshire Hathaway. The leased property includes 6,418 square feet of office space, which will house administrative staff. In addition, the facility offers 42 parking spaces and a dedicated drop-off area tailored for families enrolled in park district programs.

The building also features nearly 34,000 square feet of warehouse space with an 18-foot clear height, providing ample room for indoor recreation. The space will support a wide array of programming—including dance, gymnastics, and sports—while the Elmhurst community center undergoes a major redevelopment.

“The Elmhurst Park District liked that this facility had adequate office space for their administrative offices, and that it has enough clear height for gymnastics and other sports programs,” said Dan Prendergast of DarwinPW Realty.

The interim use of the facility is expected to span several years, ensuring continuity in programming for the local community during the redevelopment process.
