Cityview, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in multifamily housing, has announced plans to develop a major mixed-use project in Los Angeles’ Westchester neighborhood. Located at 6136 West Manchester Avenue, the development will include 489 rental units and 16,120 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Construction on the project is slated to begin in 2026, with completion anticipated by late 2028.

“6136 Manchester is one of the largest projects to be entitled in Los Angeles in many years,” said Sean Burton, CEO of Cityview. “We leveraged our experience navigating complex entitlements and working with the community, city staff, and elected leaders to bring this highly anticipated project to fruition. We are looking forward to delivering nearly 500 units of much-needed housing to this fast-growing and vibrant area of Los Angeles.”

The development will offer a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, along with 549 parking spaces. Notably, 64 of the units will be designated as affordable housing for households earning no more than 50% of the area median income.
