**Landmark Properties JV to Develop 807-Bed Student Housing Near USF in Tampa**
A joint venture between Landmark Properties, Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC, and Peninsula Investments has announced the acquisition of a 4.3-acre site at 2700 University Square Drive in Tampa, Florida. The group plans to develop an 807-bed student housing community named The Mark Tampa.
Located less than half a mile from the University of South Florida (USF), The Mark Tampa will offer 215 residential units across a six-story structure. The development will include a variety of floor plans ranging from studio to five-bedroom units.
Construction is set to begin immediately, with completion targeted for the 2027–2028 academic year. The project is being supported by a construction loan provided by Kennedy Wilson, with financing arranged by TSB Capital Advisors. Landmark Construction will act as the general contractor and Dwell Design Studios will serve as the project architect.
Residences at The Mark Tampa will come fully furnished. The development will boast a comprehensive 25,000-square-foot amenity package, including a clubhouse, rooftop pool deck, grilling area, jumbotron, sports simulator, sauna and cold plunge, an interior courtyard, indoor/outdoor fitness center, a computer lab, and dedicated study areas on each floor.
