Selig Development is preparing for the next phase of The Works on Atlanta’s Westside. This 80-acre mixed-use development is the largest redevelopment in the city and Selig has invested $400 million into it, having owned this land for 75 years. They are restoring and repurposing several industrial buildings to create more than 2 million square feet of commercial space.
Phase one of The Works is almost 90% leased, with restaurants, retailers and offices occupying 27 acres that feature a food hall, 120,000 square feet of office space as well as green spaces and 306 units at Westbound apartment building – leasing beginning next month.
The second phase will be located on 53 acres from Chattahoochee Avenue to Collier Road currently occupied by warehouses; joining other adaptive reuse projects that have transformed Atlanta’s Westside into an exciting office district with residential areas & retail stores nearby.
