**Rowan Digital Secures $15.8M in Incentives for $1.2B Data Center Campus in Texas**

Rowan Digital has secured approximately $15.8 million in financial incentives for a proposed $1.2 billion hyperscale data center campus in Temple, Texas. The facility is planned to span more than 700 acres.

According to the Austin Business Journal, the Temple City Council recently granted final approval for the annexation and zoning of land located at 1707 and 2351 Bob White Road. Additionally, 554 acres were designated as a tax reinvestment zone—a move that enabled the approval of the incentive package.

Under the agreement with Rowan Temple LLC, the company is required to invest at least $700 million into the project. It must also create 40 full-time jobs with an average salary of $80,000. In return, the city will provide a 10-year, 50% property tax abatement on the increase in real and personal property improvements on the site.

Construction on the facility is expected to begin by the end of 2025, with completion anticipated the following fall. The project is also projected to create more than 700 construction-related jobs.
