**NY State Agency More Than Doubles Footprint at SL Green Tower**

The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) has significantly expanded its presence at SL Green Realty Corp.’s 919 Third Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, adding 66,100 square feet to its lease. This expansion more than doubles the agency’s footprint in the 1.5-million-square-foot office tower, bringing the property to full occupancy.

OGS initially moved into 919 Third Avenue in 2024 with a lease for approximately 53,000 square feet. With a new 15-year renewal and expansion, the agency’s total space now amounts to 117,390 square feet.

“Leasing velocity on Third Avenue has significantly increased this year, resulting in a notable shortage of large, high-quality availabilities,” said Steven Durels, Director of Leasing and Real Property at SL Green. He also noted that Bloomberg LP expanded its lease at the same property to 925,000 square feet last year.

OGS was represented in the transaction by CBRE’s Stephen Siegel, Liz Lash, Peter Larkin, and Mark Bezold. Representing SL Green were Robert Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Emily Chabrier, Taylor Callahan, Alex D’Amario, and Nicole Marshal from CBRE.
