Focus recently announced the completion of construction on the 23-story mixed-use tower at 808 N. Cleveland Ave., located in River North, Chicago. Acting as general contractor, Focus received certificate of occupancy last month after breaking ground in October 2021.
The 8o8 features 200 rental apartments, 20,000 square feet of office and 7,500 square feet of retail and is situated on the south end of Cabrini Green – an area that has seen a lack investment when it comes to affordable housing options. The 8o8 activates an underutilized pocket while bringing 20 affordable units to River North which had far reaching impacts such as providing 8 local hires and developing new attainable housing for residents all while achieving project goals by delivering it on time and within budget according to Josh Stark EVP Construction at Focus.
