WS Development, a Chestnut Hill-based company, is set to begin construction on the redevelopment of Capetown Plaza in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The 26-acre property was previously home to Kmart and will be transformed into a shopping destination called The Landing at Hyannis. WS Development has created projects like Legacy Place and MarketStreet Lynnfield and plans to create an outdoor space for customers as part of this redevelopment project. This includes improving facades, interiors, landscaping as well as adding a common outdoor gathering area.
Whole Foods has signed on to become an anchor tenant at the site with renovations planned for the first phase followed by new buildings constructed during phase two along with additional site work.
