**Vestar Unveils Plans for Massive Mixed-Use Development “Legacy Park” in Southeast Mesa**
Retail developer Vestar has announced ambitious plans for a new large-scale mixed-use development called Legacy Park in southeast Mesa, Arizona. The 200-acre project will be located near Mesa Gateway Airport, Arizona Athletic Grounds, and Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus.
Legacy Park is envisioned as an “urban oasis” and will feature an impressive range of amenities, including:
– A 20-acre urban park with multiple trails and a large, man-made lake
– Approximately 300,000 square feet of upscale retail and dining options
– 2,400 multifamily residential units
– A 600-room resort hotel
– 3.4 million square feet of mid-rise office space and corporate campus facilities
Vestar is partnering with the property owner, Pacific Proving LLC, to bring this future-forward community to life. The developers aim to support the growing populations of Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek and create an attractive destination for future homeowners and businesses alike.
Over the next two years, Vestar will collaborate closely with the City of Mesa while assembling the full development team to carry the project forward.
