**Vestar Unveils Plans for Massive Mixed-Use Development “Legacy Park” in Mesa**
Retail developer Vestar has announced its ambitious vision for Legacy Park, a sprawling 200-acre mixed-use development slated for southeast Mesa. Strategically located near Mesa Gateway Airport, Arizona Athletic Grounds, and Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus, the project is positioned to become a premier destination for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
Legacy Park is set to feature a wide array of integrated components, including:
– More than 20 acres of urban park space with multiple walking trails and a large man-made lake
– Approximately 300,000 square feet of upscale retail and dining options
– 2,400 multifamily residential units
– A 600-room resort-style hotel
– 3.4 million square feet designated for mid-rise office buildings and a corporate campus
Vestar, along with the property’s owner, Pacific Proving LLC, is branding the development as an “urban oasis” designed to serve the flourishing communities of Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek. The project is envisioned not only as a regional hub for business and leisure but also as an ideal location for future residents.
Over the next two years, Vestar will collaborate closely with the City of Mesa while finalizing its development team to bring Legacy Park to life.
