**BHW Capital Breaks Ground on Second Apartment Community Near Tour 18 Golf Course in Humble**
BHW Capital has started construction on Clayton at Tour 18, a new 288-unit apartment complex situated adjacent to the Tour 18 golf course in Humble, Texas. This marks the company’s second residential development near the golf course. The first, The Park at Tour 18, delivered 241 units and was completed in 2020. BHW later sold that project to Civitas Capital Group in 2021.
The new development is located on a 10.5-acre site, which BHW acquired from a private seller in July.
Clayton at Tour 18 will offer units averaging 913 square feet, with rents starting at approximately $1,135. Select residences—25 ground-floor units—will feature private yards. Designed with modern living in mind, the community will include a variety of amenities such as:
– A fully equipped gym with an indoor turf training zone
– Resort-style swimming pool
– Work pods for remote professionals
– Outdoor biergarten and kitchens
– A putting green
– Pet park with washing station
Project completion is anticipated in 2027.
Architecture for the development is being led by Mucasey & Associates, with Blazer Building Southwest serving as general contractor. Construction financing is being provided by Southside Bank.
