**Tele-Fonika Cable Americas Eyes $380M Facility in Waller County**

Tele-Fonika Cable Americas Corp. is considering a major investment in the Waller Independent School District near the Harris County-Waller County line, where it could potentially apply for tax incentives. The company is planning an estimated $380 million investment over four years, with construction expected to begin in 2026 and wrap up by the end of 2029.

The proposed facility would specialize in the production of a range of industrial cables, including medium- and high-voltage cables, mining cables, welding cables, flexible cords, submersible pump cables, and stage lighting cables. The plant is projected to create 75 jobs.

Operations at the facility are scheduled to commence in 2029. If approved, a 10-year tax incentive would be effective from 2030 through 2039.

The site under consideration is a 117-acre parcel located at 19702 Kickapoo Road in Waller, Texas. Tele-Fonika Cable Americas currently holds a conditional sales agreement for the property but is also exploring alternative locations in other states. The company has indicated that it may withdraw from the Waller site if the tax incentives offered are not competitive.
