**Egg Harbor Café Opens at Optima Verdana in Downtown Wilmette**
Egg Harbor Café has officially celebrated the grand opening of its newest location at Optima Verdana, a six-story, 100-unit luxury apartment complex situated in downtown Wilmette, Illinois.
The new 4,100-square-foot restaurant is located at 707 Green Bay Road, directly across from the Wilmette Metra commuter rail station. The residential community, which opened in 2023, is currently fully leased and has drawn significant interest due to its prime North Shore location, extensive amenities, and diverse range of floor plans—from 660 to 2,790 square feet.
Egg Harbor Café, known for its popular breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings, operates a number of locations across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Georgia. The Wilmette café marks the second collaboration between Egg Harbor and Optima, Inc., joining the successful Egg Harbor Café Streeterville, which opened in 2019 in the 490-unit Optima Signature high-rise in downtown Chicago.
