**ALDI Set to Make Times Square Debut in 2026**
Taconic Partners and National Real Estate Advisors have signed a lease with grocery chain ALDI for a new location at The Ellery, a luxury rental tower located at 312 West 43rd Street. The 25,000-square-foot space will mark ALDI’s first store in Midtown Manhattan.
“The ALDI flagship location at The Ellery marks a major milestone in the transformation of the Times Square area into a premier residential destination,” said George Tsapelas, Senior Vice President at Taconic Partners. “ALDI is an ideal neighborhood partner, offering the West Side a much-needed grocery store that will resonate with our residents and the community.”
The lease agreement was brokered by a CBRE team led by Senior Vice Presidents Lon Rubackin and Michael Kadosh, along with associate Bevan Cohen, who represented the ownership group. ALDI was represented by Esther Bukai, Vice Chair at Ripco Real Estate.
The store is expected to open in 2026, following the full lease-up of the residential units at The Ellery. This new flagship location represents a major step in ALDI’s continued expansion and Midtown Manhattan’s evolution as a mixed-use neighborhood.
