Clayco, CRG, and The Prime Group Secure 75,633 SF in New Leases at The Jewelers Building

Clayco, in partnership with CRG and The Prime Group, Inc., has announced a significant milestone in leasing activity at the historic 35 E. Wacker Drive in Chicago—also known as The Jewelers Building. The companies have secured a total of 75,633 square feet in new and renewed office leases, with Madison Rose leading the leasing efforts.

The new leasing activity includes:

– A 25,445-square-foot headquarters relocation by Sheridan Capital Partners from the Wrigley Building. The firm has signed a long-term lease and was represented by JLL’s Pat Schenk and Bill Rogers.

– A 21,664-square-foot expansion by Clayco/CRG as part of their continued presence and growth in the building.

– A 21,666-square-foot renewal by architecture and engineering firm SmithGroup, which reaffirmed its commitment to the building through a multiyear lease extension.

In addition to these large transactions, other firms such as Aprio and Selective Search have also completed lease renewals, contributing to the overall leasing activity total of over 75,000 square feet at this iconic property. The Jewelers Building continues to solidify its position as a desirable office location in downtown Chicago.
