Lendlease Begins Pre-Leasing at The Riverie in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
Lendlease has officially launched pre-leasing for The Riverie, a new all-electric residential development located at 18 India Street in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood. With an anticipated opening in October, the project features 834 rental apartments and boasts what is considered the largest high-rise geoexchange system in the country.
“The Riverie comes online at a moment when demand for thoughtfully designed, sustainable waterfront living in Brooklyn has never been stronger,” said Layth Madi, Senior Vice President and Director of Development Management and Operations at Lendlease in New York. “With its scale, climate resilience, and industry-leading geothermal system, The Riverie is designed to set a new benchmark for urban living that’s both future-proofed and deeply connected to Greenpoint’s vibrant character.”
Spanning an entire city block along the East River, The Riverie includes two residential towers rising 37 and 20 stories, as well as a mid-rise podium with frontage along India, West, and Java Streets. The development offers a range of residences, from studios to three-bedroom apartments.
This ambitious project is poised to become a model for environmentally responsible, urban waterfront living.
