**Hospitality Sale in Galveston**
Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) has announced the sale of a 57-room Comfort Suites hotel in Galveston, Texas. Investment specialist Skyler Cooper from the firm’s Dallas office exclusively represented the seller. Constructed in 2007, the property includes a range of amenities such as a lounge/bar, outdoor pool, whirlpool, meeting space, fitness center, and business center.

**TAAHP Appoints First Former Resident as Board President**
The Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP) has named Meghan Cano as president of its board of directors. Cano, the first leader of TAAHP who is a former resident of a low-income housing facility, is also the CEO of CHR Partners, a San Antonio-based nonprofit serving over 15,000 Texas families monthly. She brings more than two decades of experience in affordable housing finance and advocacy to her new role.

**CBRE Expands Debt & Structured Finance Team**
CBRE has strengthened its Debt & Structured Finance team with the addition of Andy Scott, Michael Cosby, and Kris Lowe as Vice Chairs. Collectively, the trio brings over 50 years of experience and have closed transactions exceeding $60 billion. The team will focus on expanding CBRE’s debt and equity placement services across property types in Texas, with a specific emphasis on multifamily assets.

**Hines Launches Leasing at Meadowlark at Wildflower Ranch**
Hines has begun leasing at Meadowlark at Wildflower Ranch, a 129-home single-family rental community located in Justin, Texas, within the 1,100-acre master-planned Wildflower Ranch development. The community features three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 1,600 to 2,066 square feet, with rental prices starting around $2,595 per month.

**Retail Property Sold in Conroe**
Marcus & Millichap also facilitated the sale of Conroe Shopping Center, a 51,030-square-foot retail property with 18 suites, in Conroe, Texas. Investment specialists Bill Dang and Justin Miller from the firm’s Houston office represented the buyer, a Houston-based investor. The center, built in 2004, is shadow-anchored by a Kroger and is located at 2218 Interstate 45 N.
