**AFCO Distribution & Milling Expands with New 44,000-SF Distribution Center in Lacey, WA**
AFCO Distribution & Milling has announced the opening of a new 43,830-square-foot distribution center in Lacey, Washington, bringing the company’s total warehousing capacity to over a quarter million square feet.
The Spokane Valley-based company has been warehousing and cross-docking out of a Centralia, Washington facility since 2023. The new location, situated at 8551 Commerce Place Drive NE, is a strategic move to further streamline distribution operations, enhance service levels, and better support its growing customer base.
“As a regional distributor, AFCO can respond faster than national competitors in maintaining inventory levels and fill rates that exceed industry standards,” said Lloyd Campbell, vice president of wholesale operations for AFCO Distribution. “This expansion is a direct response to our customers’ needs.”
AFCO currently serves more than 800 feed and pet supply retailers across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii, and Alaska, distributing over 8,500 products. The Lacey facility is designed to enhance operational efficiency and continue delivering on AFCO’s commitment to high service standards.
“Our goal with this facility is speed and precision — getting the right products to the right retailers, faster and fresher,” added Steve Putnam, chief operations officer at AFCO.
