**Wing Point Partners Acquires Historic Ballard Mill Marina for $9.55M**
Seattle’s iconic Ballard Mill Marina has officially changed ownership, with the longtime private waterfront property being sold to boutique investment and development firm Wing Point Partners for $9.55 million.
Located at 4601 Shilshole Avenue Northwest, the 16-acre marine industrial property sits in the heart of Ballard’s historic maritime district. The site, which includes approximately 11 acres of upland and 5 acres of submerged land along Salmon Bay, has been under the ownership of the Black family since 1889. This transaction marks the end of a remarkable 135-year tenure.
The property is historically significant as the site of the Ballard Mill Marina, a recreational facility that offers over 500 linear feet of commercial wharf space. In addition to the marina, the site features a variety of industrial buildings, making it a unique asset within Seattle’s tight industrial market.
Wing Point Partners’ strategic acquisition reflects continued investment interest in Ballard’s evolving waterfront, while preserving the legacy of this long-standing maritime property.
