**Early Charm Signs Lease as Lead Tenant at The Machine Works Redevelopment in East Baltimore**

Early Charm, a company that creates, owns, and operates ventures transforming scientific innovations into products, has signed a lease for 4,894 square feet of space at The Machine Works in East Baltimore. The company will be the lead tenant at the redeveloped site, formerly known as the Detrick & Harvey Machine Works factory.

The Machine Works is undergoing a $25 million transformation through a joint redevelopment initiative by ReBUILD Metro and MCB Real Estate. Originally constructed in the 19th century, the former factory was once a hub for manufacturing machine tools and equipment. The redevelopment project aims to revitalize the site as a modern center for manufacturing and production enterprises.

Occupying approximately 1.23 acres, the new facility will include 34,000 square feet of light industrial space and 10,000 square feet of office space. Early Charm plans to use its portion of the space to support the growth of a new venture as part of its continued expansion in Baltimore.

The project has received significant financing support, including a $5 million award from the Maryland Historical Trust. Additional support comes from the Maryland and Baltimore City Departments of Housing and Community Development, as well as a HUD Community Project Funding Grant.

The signing marks a major milestone in the Machine Works redevelopment and sets the stage for further economic revitalization in East Baltimore.
