**Dream Hotel Construction Set to Begin at Frisco’s Firefly Park**

Wilks Development has secured zoning approval and is moving forward with construction on the Dream Hotel, a 190-room luxury property located within the expansive Firefly Park development in Frisco, Texas.

Construction on the 16-story hotel is scheduled to begin in February, with a projected cost of $129 million, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The hotel will be situated on the east side of Fireglass Way and Brixley Boulevard and is designed to include meeting spaces, office areas, and a restaurant.

This hotel is part of the initial phase of the multibillion-dollar Firefly Park project. The broader development will also feature 230 townhomes, 130,000 square feet of retail and dining space, a 25,000-square-foot amphitheater, a 1,400-space parking garage, residential apartments, and a wedding chapel and event venue.

Wilks Development is set to break ground on the retail portion of the site in October, with construction expected to last about 20 months. The firm originally acquired the land for Firefly Park in 2015.

Firefly Park continues to take shape as a major mixed-use destination in the North Texas region, with the Dream Hotel serving as a key hospitality component in its first phase.
