**Sentinel Acquires Luxury Apartment Community in Redlands**
Sentinel Real Estate has added to its Southern California portfolio with the acquisition of The Venue at Orange, a newly constructed luxury apartment community located in Redlands. While the seller and the purchase price were not disclosed, the move reflects Sentinel’s ongoing strategy to invest in high-quality residential properties in suburban markets experiencing strong growth.
Completed in 2023, The Venue at Orange is a 328-unit, garden-style development situated approximately three miles from Redlands’ historic downtown. The community consists of seven buildings, including six residential structures and a mixed-use community clubhouse.
“This transaction exemplifies our strategy of acquiring institutional quality apartment communities in desirable suburban areas supported by strong demographic and economic tailwinds, including population growth, diverse employment bases and limited residential supply,” said George Tietjen, Managing Director of Sentinel. “The Venue at Orange is well-positioned to benefit from these trends.”
With a 56-year history of investment in the Southern California market, Sentinel currently owns five properties in the region. The company says it plans to continue leveraging its market insights and industry connections to identify attractive opportunities and further expand its portfolio in key suburban areas.
