**Evergreen Goodwill Moves into 119,000-Square-Foot Facility in Seattle’s Georgetown Neighborhood**
Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington has officially taken occupancy of a new 119,000-square-foot warehouse and a four-acre transportation yard located in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood.
Slated to serve as the organization’s Georgetown Operations Center, the new facility at 5940 and 5980 1st Ave South is expected to be fully operational by December 2025. The development marks a significant step forward in Evergreen Goodwill’s efforts to modernize operations, reduce environmental impact, and support future growth.
The updated operations hub will centralize e-commerce activities, improve logistical efficiencies for its transportation fleet, and streamline inventory management systems. These enhancements aim to boost operational capabilities across the organization.
With this move, Evergreen Goodwill projects nearly $4 million in operational savings over the next three years.
“We are excited to have a new facility for both our employees and our operations,” said Libby Johnson McKee, President and CEO of Evergreen Goodwill. “It creates a modern logistics and operations workplace for our employees and will allow us to greatly increase our positive impact in the community.”
