**Josh Silberstein Joins Compass as Executive Director in New York Commercial Division**
Compass Vice Chairman Adelaide Polsinelli has announced the appointment of Josh Silberstein as Executive Director within the firm’s New York Commercial Division. Silberstein becomes part of the Polsinelli-Graff team, which is widely recognized for its off-market transactions and innovative deal structuring across various asset classes.
In his new role, Silberstein will lead investment sales and leasing efforts throughout Manhattan and the outer boroughs, with a strategic focus on multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use properties. He will also utilize Compass’ extensive national platform to help clients expand their portfolios and access new markets.
Silberstein began his career at Dwight Capital as a sizing analyst. Over time, he progressed to become part of the firm’s affiliated mortgage REIT, Dwight Mortgage Trust. Throughout his tenure, he was instrumental in executing deals nationwide, with significant involvement in high-volume transactions, distressed asset opportunities, and borrower workout strategies.
To date, Silberstein has underwritten or managed more than $2 billion in multifamily assets and has played a key role in closing over $500 million in bridge loans. His addition is expected to strengthen Compass’ presence and capabilities in the competitive New York commercial real estate market.
