**MWI Property Group Breaks Ground on 211-Acre Gateway Business Center in Geneva, Illinois**
MWI Property Group (MWI) has officially broken ground on the Gateway Business Center (GBC), a master-planned business park located in Geneva, Illinois.
Spanning 211 acres, the development will eventually feature 2.5 million square feet of cutting-edge industrial space. The park is designed to accommodate a wide range of business needs, offering a mix of fully entitled sites, speculative developments, and build-to-suit options. Individual spaces will range from 30,000 to 1.1 million square feet.
MWI Construction LLC is serving as the design-build general contractor for the project. Engineering and architectural services are being provided by Pinnacle Engineering and Harris Architects, respectively. Marketing and leasing efforts are being led by Michael Androwich Jr. and Matthew Androwich of Lee & Associates, with opportunities available for both lease and sale.
A key component of the development includes a nearly one-mile extension of Kautz Road, which will improve connectivity from the business park to Illinois Route 38 (IL-38) and Fabyan Parkway, enhancing access throughout the surrounding corridor.
“We are very excited to officially launch this Class A industrial park we have worked for years to assemble, entitle and master plan,” said Justin Fierz, Principal at MWI Property Group.
Gateway Business Center is poised to become a major hub for industrial and logistical operations in the Greater Chicago area.
