**Staypineapple Sells Hotel Five in Belltown for $25.5 Million**

Staypineapple Hotels Inc. has sold Hotel Five, a 116-room boutique property located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, for $25.5 million. The buyer is DVP 2200 5 LLC, an affiliate of Renton-based MS Real Estate Co.

The hotel, located at 2200 Fifth Avenue, becomes the third Seattle-area property that Staypineapple has sold in recent months. Previous transactions include the Watertown Hotel in the University District, which was sold for $27.5 million, and the University Inn, which sold for $27 million. Despite the sales, Staypineapple will continue managing the properties under licensing and management agreements.

Originally built in 1978, Hotel Five spans 62,030 square feet and features amenities such as a fitness center and a barista bar.

This transaction marks MS Real Estate CEO Melina Lin’s first venture into the hospitality market. Staypineapple, founded in 2011 by Bellevue-based Columbia West Properties, continues to operate as a boutique hospitality brand known for its vibrant and playful identity.

The sale highlights ongoing investment interest in Seattle’s hospitality sector and reflects Staypineapple’s evolving business strategy.
