Logistics Property Company has officially broken ground on the Fords Prairie Industrial Park, a 604,000-square-foot industrial development in Centralia, Washington.

This marks the company’s third project in Washington state, following its fully leased Tacoma South facility and the Frederickson ONE development. Together, these prior developments encompass a total of three million square feet across six buildings. The new Fords Prairie project benefits from a prime location along Interstate 5 between Seattle and Portland, offering convenient access to three major ports and proximity to rail lines operated by Union Pacific and BNSF.

The project team includes Poe Construction as the general contractor, NELSON Worldwide as the architect, Barghausen providing civil engineering services, and AHBL serving as the structural engineer. Leasing for the development is being handled by Vanessa Herzog of Lee & Associates and Mike Avila of Pacific Rim Real Estate Group.

Key features of the building include:

– 42-foot clear height
– 6,000 amps of power
– Nearly 9,000 square feet of spec office space
– 38 EV charging stations
– Planned Solar PV system

The project is being developed with sustainability in mind and is pursuing LEED Gold certification.

Fords Prairie Industrial Park represents the continued growth of Logistics Property Company’s footprint in the Pacific Northwest and its commitment to sustainable, strategically located industrial real estate.
