Invesco Real Estate has acquired Georgia Crossing, a 317,301-square-foot retail center located across from the Mall of Georgia in Buford, for $82.3 million. The seller, Washington Prime Group, was represented in the transaction by JLL Capital Markets Investment Sales and Advisory team, led by Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan, and Andrew Kahn.
At the time of the sale, the retail center was fully leased. Anchor tenants include TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Target. Other major tenants are Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, Hobby Lobby, Staples, Cavender’s, Ulta Beauty, CVS Pharmacy, and Starbucks.
Originally completed in 1999, Georgia Crossing comprises six one-story buildings situated on a 30-acre site at 3205 Woodward Crossing Boulevard. The location benefits from significant daily traffic, with nearly 140,000 vehicles passing by on nearby Buford Drive and Woodward Crossing Boulevard.
