**Mercedes-Benz HPC Named Federal Realty’s Preferred EV Charging Provider**

Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging (HPC) and Federal Realty Investment Trust have announced a new agreement that designates Mercedes-Benz as the preferred EV charging provider across Federal Realty’s national retail portfolio.

As part of the partnership, the two companies will work together to develop a scalable charging network, with plans to install approximately 500 new ultra-fast charging stalls. The initial rollout includes 20 locations, each featuring up to 10 charging stalls equipped with Mercedes-Benz HPC’s 400 kW ultra-fast charging technology. These chargers will be compatible with both CCS-1 and NACS vehicle connectors. The first installations are expected to go live in 2026.

“This collaboration adds a forward-looking amenity to some of the country’s most consistently successful retail properties, enhancing the customer experience and reinforcing the strength of our portfolio,” said Don Wood, President & CEO of Federal Realty Investment Trust.

Currently, Mercedes-Benz HPC operates more than 400 charging stalls across 14 states and is actively developing over 2,000 more. The company has committed $1 billion to achieving its goal of installing 2,500 charging stalls across North America by 2027.
