**Sprouts to Anchor New Retail Center in Prosper, Texas**
GBT Realty has secured Sprouts Farmers Market as the anchor tenant for a new retail center in Prosper, Texas. The natural foods grocer will occupy a 23,000-square-foot space within a proposed 56,000-square-foot development. Construction costs for the Sprouts location are projected to come in just under $5 million.
The retail development will span six acres and include four additional retail spaces, ranging in size from 6,700 to 9,600 square feet.
Sprouts continues to expand its footprint throughout Texas, including other locations such as Providence Village. With the new Prosper site, Sprouts will operate 33 stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and 58 locations statewide. Nationally, the grocer employs approximately 35,000 people and operates over 450 stores across 24 states. California leads the country with 152 Sprouts locations.
This retail center will be situated in one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation. The site is near the border of Celina, which recently ranked fourth in the U.S. for estimated population growth between mid-2023 and mid-2024, and ranked number one the year prior.
