**Portland’s Gateway Shopping Center Listed for Sale at $50.8 Million**

The Gateway Shopping Center, a well-established retail hub anchored by a Fred Meyer store, has been listed for sale in Portland. The asking price for the property is $50.8 million, or $44.8 million if the shuttered Kohl’s store within the plaza is excluded.

Situated at the intersection of Northeast Halsey Street and 102nd Avenue, the shopping center is currently 96% occupied. Notable tenants include Ross Dress for Less and Office Depot.

The property has a rich history, beginning as a Fred Meyer grocery store developed by Fred G. Meyer in 1954, located where the now-closed Kohl’s once operated. The current 188,000-square-foot Fred Meyer building was constructed in 1989, with the rest of the shopping center completed by 1992.

In total, Gateway Shopping Center encompasses 288,000 square feet of retail space. The location offers convenient access to major highways I-205 and I-84, and is adjacent to Portland’s TriMet MAX Light Rail Gateway Transit Center, further enhancing its accessibility and appeal to tenants and shoppers alike.
