JFK Airport’s New Terminal One to Feature Advanced Logistics Hub
The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport is taking a major step forward in operational efficiency through a new partnership with JCM Business Solutions. Together, they will develop the airport’s first Consolidated Receiving and Distribution Center (CRDC), an initiative designed to streamline and secure the delivery process for the terminal.
Scheduled to be operational by the end of 2025, the new JCM Logistics Complex will span 83,500 square feet and serve as a centralized logistics hub. The facility will manage, screen, and coordinate all deliveries to the terminal, effectively eliminating the need for third-party truck deliveries via the airfield. This move is expected to reduce congestion and enhance safety and efficiency.
Strategically located adjacent to JFK Airport, the standalone complex will offer advanced capabilities including freezer and cooler storage, reverse logistics, and general storage solutions. All goods destined for the New Terminal One will be received at the logistics center, undergo security screening, and then be sorted and consolidated for final delivery to the terminal.
“This facility will help ensure that operations around the new terminal are as seamless and efficient as possible,” said Marisa Von Wieding, Vice President of Operations at The New Terminal One.
The logistics center is part of the broader redevelopment of JFK Airport, with the New Terminal One expected to open in phases beginning in 2026.
