Colliers Selected to Sell Redeveloped 250,000-Square-Foot Retail Center in Bethlehem

Colliers has been retained to lead the sale of Westgate, a newly redeveloped 250,000-square-foot retail center located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The retail destination has undergone a $20 million transformation by its owner, Onyx Equities, reimagining it as a modern, open-air shopping center anchored by a grocery store. The redevelopment aligns with evolving tenant demands and consumer preferences, creating a walkable experience that has revitalized a community landmark.

“This project is the result of a strategic, long-term vision by Onyx Equities to bring new life to a center that holds deep roots in the community. The result is a walkable, open-air shopping experience that aligns with both tenant demand and consumer preferences,” said Jacklene Chesler, Vice Chair at Colliers.

The Colliers marketing team for the sale includes Jacklene Chesler, Vice Chair; Patrick Norris, Vice President; Philippe Jomphe, Director; and Matthew Cohen, Director.

Currently, Westgate is 84% leased. Weis Markets, which has been a tenant since 1994, serves as the anchor. The center boasts a diverse tenant mix with 26 occupants, including national brands and essential service providers such as Starbucks, McDonald’s, Harbor Freight Tools, Lehigh Valley Health Network, and Sky Zone.
