**Midway, 3Edgewood, and Parkway to Revitalize Iconic Post Oak Central in Houston**

Midway, in partnership with 3Edgewood and Parkway, has launched a major redevelopment effort to transform the iconic Post Oak Central into a vibrant mixed-use destination, now rebranded as Central Park Post Oak.

Located on a 17-acre campus in Houston, Post Oak Central currently comprises 1.2 million square feet of premier Class-A office space and 90,000 square feet of pedestrian-oriented retail. The revitalization plan aims to significantly expand and reimagine the property to better serve the needs of tenants, visitors, and the surrounding community.

The comprehensive redevelopment plan includes over 150,000 square feet of mixed-use retail and restaurant space. Of that, 60,000 square feet will be newly constructed, while the remainder will involve enhancements to existing facilities. Two brand-new retail buildings are also slated to be built along Post Oak Boulevard, integrating more dynamic and walkable spaces into the urban fabric of the city. Other planned features include on-street parking, updated parking garages, and a curated mix of new retailers and dining options.

Groundbreaking for Central Park Post Oak took place in April 2025, with project completion anticipated by fall 2026. The redevelopment team includes architecture and planning firm Page, landscape architect OJB, and construction partner Hoar Construction, alongside Midway.

This joint venture aims to breathe new life into one of Houston’s most recognizable commercial campuses, creating an enhanced destination for work, shopping, and dining in the Uptown/Galleria area.
