**Penn Entertainment Sets August Opening for New Hollywood Casino Joliet**
Penn Entertainment Inc. has announced that its new land-based Hollywood Casino Joliet is scheduled to open to the public on Monday, August 11, pending customary regulatory approvals. The highly anticipated project is set to debut nearly six months ahead of the company’s original construction timeline.
The new casino will be a key attraction within the Rock Run Collection, a large-scale, super-regional commercial and residential development. Strategically located near the interchange of Interstate 80 and Interstate 55 in Joliet, Illinois, the site benefits from a high-traffic area with an estimated 230,000 passing vehicles daily.
Hollywood Casino Joliet will offer a wide range of gaming and entertainment options, including approximately 1,000 slot machines and 43 live table games, featuring a dedicated baccarat room. Guests will also enjoy a retail ESPN BET sportsbook, an event center spanning approximately 10,000 square feet with meeting spaces, and convenient access to around 1,330 parking spaces.
